I'm back with another lookbook, but this time the pictures have better quality because I just recently bought a new DSLR camera. The camera that i bought isn't the latest model, it is Canon EOS 600D. Although it is not the latest model, it is enough to make me happy because I've always wanted to have a DSLR camera so that my pictures have good quality. I am so thankful to God that I have one right now. Also, this will help me become a better blogger, so expect that I'll be posting here on my blog more.
Okay, let's talk about what this blog post is mainly about, which is neckerchief and retro fashion. Both on top of the trends nowadays and I am loving it so much! The neckerchief adds texture and contrast to the entire outfit. As what you can see, my shirt is yellow, so having a color that contrasts well with yellow makes the outfit livelier. Besides, retro fashion is all about going out of the box, being creative with your outfit and wearing lots of colors. I just used a red bandana, folded it into a triangle then folded it more horizontally. For the pants, I bought this one at a thrift store. I've been searching on Pinterest for 90s fashion inspiration and I've noticed that checkered pants are a must-have for those who admire retro or vintage fashion.

"Oh no, this is such a waste of money, this product doesn't work for me!" and "This product is giving me allergies, won't be able to use this anymore!" I am a tad sure that some of you have encountered these problems cause honestly, I've said these statements for the nth time already. I grew tired of spending money on products that are not working well for me and just stuck to the products that are effective for me. There are times though that I want to try new products but I don't want to spend on ineffective products anymore because it will only cause more damage to my skin and wallet!
What is Sample Room?
Sample Room (www.sampleroom.ph) is a site that gives you the benefit of trying on products before you buy it. It is somewhat similar to when you go to supermarkets or groceries then you see people lining up for free taste of a sample food so that they could try or taste before buying it, only with Sample Room you don't have to fall in line, you just have to sit and click or tap on your gadget. "Try before you buy," is actually their tagline. Interesting, isn't it? Worry no more about spending on products that won't be effective for you. You don't have to take a risk at a full-sized product that may not work for you and give you an allergic reaction and rely on reviews alone that might not go well with your skin type (as you get to try the product yourself.) With Sample Room, you will be able to patch test then road test the product you are interested in purchasing and see if the product really does suits you and works well with your skin, you get to experience the product and decide after finishing a sample size if the product is right for you, and read reviews from consumers who have the same skin type as yours.

How to Satisfy your Cravings at the Comfort of your Home this Rainy Season
Wednesday, July 19, 2017
Gone is the scorching heat of summer and here comes the rainy season; a season of umbrellas, wet shoes, and traffic. I know some of you are singing "Rain, rain, go away" in your mind right now, wishing for the rain to stop so that you could go on with your planned trips or agenda without difficulty. When it rains, most people would stay indoors rather than getting wet in the rain. I admit I am one of the few people that would prefer to stay indoors during the rainy season, because of this having my cravings satisfied has been troublesome. Also, whenever it is cold and raining I get hungry easily!
Thanks to modern technology, we can easily do a lot of things online such as movie streaming, shopping and ordering food! This is made possible by the increasing number of mobile apps today offering digital public services like foodpanda.
What is Food Panda?
Foodpanda is an online food delivery platform that enables users to access a wide variety of restaurants from their mobile phones or desktop computer.
No more wasting time in congested traffics or waiting in line just to have your cravings satisfied, with this you'll have a happy tummy without even breaking a sweat it is just simply a few clicks away.
Here's how to use the app:
Of course, like all apps out there, you have to download Foodpanda thru the App Store for Apple devices and Google Play for Android devices. Once that is done, you just have to follow these simple steps...
Enter or type in your location. You can tap on the "use my current location" button if ever you want your food to be delivered to your current location or you can also set it to the place where you want the food to be delivered if you're planning to send it to a friend or family member, the app will list down restaurants within the 3-kilometer radius (this is to ensure that the food will be in mint condition upon arrival).
Next step is to choose a restaurant. Foodpanda has over 1,000 partner restaurants in Metro Manila and Cebu. From Japanese, Chinese, American, Mediterranean, or whatever cuisine you’re craving for, foodpanda will be there to satisfy your cravings! You'll never get tired of eating the same type of meals every day! There's plenty to choose from!
Choose from the menu of your restaurant of choice. The prices of the menu items, as well as the minimum order, are shown in the app. You will also be notified about the regarding promos offered by the restaurants. Isn't that great?
Add your desired menu item to your basket. You can go back and add more items to your basket. Note that, for most restaurants, the delivery charge is just 59.00 Pesos no matter how much your total food bill is. The 59 pesos delivery charge is a reasonable price, considering how much time and effort are saved!
In this step you need to ask yourself, "Is this enough to satisfy my cravings?" If you've gotten all that you need for that, just click on the "Proceed to Checkout" button.
The next step is to input your exact delivery address. You can also input specific delivery instructions.
You then have to choose which payment method you prefer. Depending on the
restaurant, foodpanda accepts cash on delivery and online payment via all major credit cards and paypal.
The final step is to check your order details and make sure that everything is correct. Click on "Place Order" and patiently wait for your order to arrive. Good things come to those who wait, right? The app has a timer that automatically starts once you place an order. The default waiting time is 60 minutes after the restaurant has confirmed receipt of your order and if you have other concerns, you can talk to a customer service representative via the Live Chat function both in the app and desktop site. You never have to worry about keeping track of the time that has passed and you can easily address your concern to them!
That's it! Isn't that a piece of cake?
Now that everything is accessible online, people can order through the app and just wait for their food to be delivered at home. Finally, you can eat your favorite food without the hassle of going out, stream and play your favorite movies and shows while waiting and relax with loved ones all in the comfort of your home. There’s no need to brave the storm and draining traffic this rainy season. Yes, with foodpanda, it’s easier to just #EatPlayLove.

Korea’s culture has paved its way into the world. Now, lots of people around the world had discovered its beauty and the essence of their culture, especially here in the Philippines. I have witnessed Korean dramas and K-pop groups become rampantly popular here in our country in a blink of an eye. Thus, the emergence of the word “Koreaboo,” a term used to refer to people who have been affected or influenced by this Korean wave or Hallyu that continues to sweep across Asia and other parts of the world. I consider myself as a Koreaboo. I kid you not, I can waste an entire day watching Korean dramas, finishing an entire series in a span of 1-2 days can now be listed as one of my skills.
Ever since I saw a blog post about a Korean Temple near our area, I kept on badgering my parents to go with me because I want them to explore and relax too. Then one day my dad finally said “yes!” I have been like a kid with ants in her pants that day. If you're a koreaboo just like me but couldn't afford yet to go to Korea, I'm certain that this place is just what you are looking for to satisfy your inner korean-craze.
Pretty sad though the weather was gloomy and it was raining, we were not able to enjoy much. We had a very hard time looking for the Korean Temple, it was like finding a needle in a haystack. It was moments later that we decided to use Waze. Thank God for Waze, we arrived at the destination.
(PS: If you're itching to know how to go there, just scroll down until you see "HOW TO GET THERE")
(PS: If you're itching to know how to go there, just scroll down until you see "HOW TO GET THERE")
Upon arriving, this is what we saw.
A huge gate. Attached to it are signs with Korean words.
You can see that the pavement is damp because as I stated a while ago, it was a rainy day. The gusty wind made the environment chilly, it felt as though I was really in Korea.
Doesn’t it look like a scene from a Korean drama? Surreal. This place reminds me of Goblin.
Solo cause I don’t have an oppa! :(
Korean drama feels! This picture would have been better if I have an oppa beside me. Don’t you agree? Hahaha. But with oppa or without oppa, you’ll really enjoy this calming place.
If you want a break from the hectic and noisy life at the Metro, this place is one of the best places to go to because it is only an hour away from Manila. Quiet, serene, and beautiful. You can meditate, relax, unwind, and ponder upon your life there peacefully.
You'll also find lots of statues in there.
HOW TO GET THERE?
* From Coastal Terminal, ride a bus going to Tagaytay.
* Ask the driver/conductor to drop you off at Estrella Hospital
* Cross the street, you'll see 7-11.
* Ride a colored maroon tricycle, tell the tricycle driver to drop you off at Pooc 2 at the Korean Temple.
* Landmark: A school is just nearby.
HOW MUCH WILL YOU SPEND FOR THIS TRIP?
* Bus fare to Silang = 56 pesos (112 back & forth)
* Tricycle = 15 pesos (30 pesos back & forth)
* NO ENTRANCE FEE FOR THE TEMPLE
Total expense will be: 142 pesos.
For just 142 pesos, you'll feel like you are in Korea already. Not bad right? Plus, Tagaytay is just a few kilometers away.
OTHER DETAILS:
* The guard said that the temple opens at 9-11 AM and 1-4 PM. It's best you go early.
* Here's a link to their website: www.manilameditation.org (just in case you want to know more about the Korean Temple.)
PLEASE DO TAKE NOTE THAT THIS IS A SACRED PLACE. OBSERVE SILENCE AT ALL TIME.
Oh and If you have any questions regarding this place or if you would also like to share your experience there, just comment down below.
Sincerely,
Aryce.
